Álvarez-Díaz was recently elevated to a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects for his outstanding service to society.
Julio César Pérez
Julio César is an accomplished leader, visionary, historian, and published author, he is a world-class expert in Cuban architecture and urbanism. He is the author of the books Inside Cuba (2004) and Inside Havana (2011),and two forthcoming books to be published by ANDELANI Press.
Jaime Yordán
Jaime Yordán is a change agent, entrepreneurship mentor, and economic developer who was born and raised in Ponce. He has over 30 years of experience in strategic planning and a deep passion for his hometown. His skills and intrinsic relationship with the town led him to establish El Nodo, an entrepreneurship development initiative that’s currently supporting the business community in the southern region of Puerto Rico by priming downtown Ponce to act as an entrepreneurial hub for the island and ultimately, the Caribbean.
